Riana Mehreen, MPH

Riana Mehreen is a resident of SE Queens and completed her Master of Public Health degree in 2023. During her time at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, she has been making contributions to the field of environmental health by using community-based participatory research (CBPR), anti-racist approaches, and community science to work with communities in Southeast (SE) Queens on environmental justice issues, as a part of the Mount Sinai Center on Health & Environment Across the LifeSpan (HEALS). Riana also worked at NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst to help plan and implement a Climate Change Initiative to reduce their environmental impact.
